Parent / Guardian Drop off and pick up process

 August 27, 2020

Dear Kindergarten through Fourth Grade Parents/Guardians of Bellmawr Park Student(s),

Welcome back to school!  We have been working all summer making many improvements to the buildings and grounds to enhance or upgrade, as well as provide a safer environment for our learning community.

In an effort to make drop-off and pick-up safer and easier for you and the members of our community, we will continue with our improved procedures as follows:

If you have more than one child in grades K through 4, your children will enter and exit together through a  designated door to the yellow parking lot.  This does not include preschool as they have a later entrance time.  Please see a separate preschool arrival/dismissal letter on the webpage, which will also be sent to you through a global message.

Grades K-4 Drop Off Time - Doors open at 8:35-8:40 a.m. (Preschool drop off is 8:50 to 8:55.)

All staff, including teachers and paraprofessionals, will be assigned to various drop off/pick up locations to assist students as they exit vehicles and enter school grounds.  Students should have face coverings in place as they exit vehicles (car riders) or walk up to the school. They will be screened for temperatures by staff as they walk into and enter the building.  If students arrive after 8:40, please report with your child(ren) to the main office (entrance #4).

Student Arrival Procedures

Kindergarten students – will utilize the yellow parking lot with drop off/pick up/loop.  A name tag will be issued to your child in a letter home from your child’s teacher to be mailed September 3.  Please send your child in wearing the name tag for the first week of school.

First grade students with no siblingswill utilize the blue parking lot with drop off/pick up/loop. If they have siblings in grades K, 2, 3 or 4 they will enter and exit through the yellow lot.
